Driving Directions

From I-495 (Long Island Expressway)

Take Exit 62 towards CR-97, Nichols Road and exit towards Nichols Road north. Continue on Nichols Road for approximately 9.5 miles until reaching Route 25A (North Country Road). Turn right and continue for approximately 1.3 mile. Turn left at the light onto Main Street. Continue on Main Street until reaching the green. Just past the green there should be two roads on the right, within the same intersection. Take the road that branches to the left towards the Frank Melville Memorial Park, Bates House & Sanctuary. The destination is at the end of this road.

From the Northern State Parkway

Take the Northern State Parkway to its terminus and continue onto Route 454 (Veterans Memorial Highway). Continue for approximately 2.1 miles and keep left towards Route 347 (Smithtown Bypass). Follow signs for Route 111 and keep right to the “jug handle”. Turn left onto Route 111 and continue for 2.0 mile to keep straight to Route 25A (North Country Road). Continue for approximately 5 miles and turn right (at the light after the Long Island Museum) to continue on Route 25A. Continue for approximately 2.9 miles and turn left on Main Street. Continue on Main Street until reaching the green. Just past the green there should be two roads on the right, within the same intersection. Take the road that branches to the left towards the Frank Melville Memorial Park, Bates House & Sanctuary. The destination is at the end of this road.
